Community Guidelines

Pour Toi is a place for serious, intentional connection — built on respect, honesty, and emotional safety. These guidelines apply to every member and every interaction on the platform. They exist to protect you and everyone around you.

By joining, you agree to follow these guidelines at all times. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.

1. Who Can Join

Pour Toi is strictly for adults aged 18 and older. You must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Create an account only for yourself — not on behalf of another person.
• Provide honest information about your identity, age, location, and intentions.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a relationship in your jurisdiction.

We enforce the age requirement at registration and reserve the right to request verification at any time. Accounts found to belong to individuals under 18 will be immediately removed.

2. Be Honest and Authentic

Your profile represents you. You must not:

• Use photos of another person or AI-generated images as your profile photo.
• Pretend to be someone you are not, including a public figure, celebrity, or fictional character.
• Create multiple accounts or use a fake identity.
• Misrepresent your age, relationship status, location, or intentions.
• Claim to have professional credentials, wealth, or circumstances that are fabricated.

Photo verification is required for all accounts. Our systems check that your profile photo shows a real, single face. Verified accounts are not immune from these rules — verification confirms a real person, not the accuracy of other claims.

3. Treat Every Member with Respect

Every person on Pour Toi deserves to feel safe and respected. You must not direct any of the following at other members:

• Harassment, threats, intimidation, or repeated unwanted contact.
• Hate speech, slurs, or content that demeans someone based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
• Pressure, manipulation, or coercion to obtain photos, meet, or continue a conversation.
• Mocking, ridiculing, or shaming someone's faith, values, or personal beliefs.
• Explicit or sexual messages sent without clear, mutual consent.
• Persistent contact after being asked to stop or after being blocked.

4. No Scams, Financial Requests, or Exploitation

Pour Toi has zero tolerance for any form of financial exploitation. You must not:

• Ask other members for money, gifts, loans, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or bank details — ever, for any reason.
• Fabricate a crisis, emergency, or hardship story to solicit funds.
• Offer money, gifts, or financial benefit in exchange for companionship, photos, or relationship commitment.
• Promote any investment scheme, business opportunity, or financial product.
• Share links to external payment platforms, crowdfunding pages, or crypto wallets.

5. No Spam, Bots, or Automated Behaviour

• Do not use automated tools, scripts, or bots to send messages, create profiles, or interact with the platform.
• Do not mass-message members with identical or templated content.
• Do not scrape, harvest, or export member data.
• Do not attempt to drive members off-platform to another service or product.
• Do not post or share promotional content, referral links, or advertisements in conversations.

6. No Sexual Exploitation or Illegal Content

• Do not solicit, offer, or facilitate prostitution or commercial sex in any form.
• Do not share or request non-consensual intimate images.
• Do not engage in or promote human trafficking, forced marriage, or coercive arrangements.
• Do not upload, share, or reference any content that is illegal under applicable law.

7. Child Safety — Absolute Prohibition

Pour Toi maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy for any conduct involving minors. You must not:

• Create an account if you are under 18 years of age.
• Attempt to contact, communicate with, or solicit individuals you believe or suspect to be minors.
• Upload, share, or request child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualised content involving minors.
• Engage in or encourage grooming, exploitation, or trafficking of minors in any form.

8. Protect Privacy — Yours and Others'

• Do not share another member's private information — including photos, contact details, location, or messages — without their explicit consent.
• Do not record, screenshot, or redistribute conversations without consent.
• Do not attempt to identify or track another member's real-world location without their knowledge.
• Do not share your own personal contact details (phone number, home address, workplace) in your public profile.

9. What Happens When Guidelines Are Violated

We take conduct seriously. Depending on the severity and frequency of a violation, we may:

• Issue a warning for minor first-time violations.
• Temporarily suspend your account while we investigate.
• Restrict specific features such as messaging or nearby discovery.
• Permanently remove your account without refund for serious or repeated violations.
• Report to law enforcement where required or appropriate, including for CSAM, trafficking, or credible threats.

We may take action immediately, without advance notice, when we believe a member or other person is at risk.

10. How to Report

If someone is behaving in a way that violates these guidelines, please report them directly through the app using the report button on their profile or in the conversation. Every report is reviewed by our safety team.

11. Appeals

If your account has been suspended or restricted and you believe the decision was made in error, you may submit an appeal to support@pourtoi.love. Please include your registered email address and a clear description of your situation. Our moderation team will review the matter and respond within a reasonable time.

Appeals do not guarantee reinstatement. We will not reverse decisions involving confirmed child safety violations or serious threats of harm.

12. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these guidelines as the platform evolves. We will notify members of material changes. Continued use of Pour Toi after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
