Child Safety Standards
Last updated: June 19, 2026
Pour Toi is strictly for adults aged 18 and older. The safety and protection of children is not negotiable. This page describes our child safety policies, the conduct we prohibit absolutely, how we detect and respond to violations, and how to report concerns.
1. Zero-Tolerance Policy
Pour Toi maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy for any conduct that involves, targets, exploits, or endangers minors. This is not subject to warnings or graduated enforcement. Violations result in immediate, permanent removal and reporting to the relevant authorities.
The following are strictly prohibited and will never be permitted under any circumstances:
- Creating an account as a minor. You must be at least 18 years of age to register. Accounts found to belong to individuals under 18 will be removed immediately.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Uploading, sharing, requesting, or linking to any sexually explicit material involving minors in any form — including images, videos, written content, or AI-generated depictions.
- Grooming. Any conduct intended to establish trust with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation, including building inappropriate emotional relationships, offering gifts or money, or gradually normalising sexual discussion.
- Solicitation of minors. Attempting to contact, communicate with, or arrange to meet individuals you believe or suspect to be under 18.
- Sexual exploitation and trafficking. Facilitating, promoting, or participating in child trafficking, forced marriage of minors, or any form of commercial sexual exploitation of children.
- Age misrepresentation. Misrepresenting your age in order to gain access to minors or to circumvent age verification on any platform.
2. Age Verification and Account Controls
All new accounts must provide a date of birth at registration. We use this to confirm that the user is at least 18 years of age and block registration for anyone below the minimum age. We also require profile photo verification for all accounts, which includes checks to confirm the presence of a real human face.
These measures are preventive, not infallible. We encourage every member to report any profile that appears to belong to a minor, regardless of stated age.
3. Detection and Moderation
We use a combination of automated systems and human review to detect child safety violations:
- Automated image analysis checks uploaded photos for age-related signals, AI-generated image indicators, and anomalies inconsistent with a genuine profile photo.
- Behavioural monitoring systems flag patterns consistent with grooming or solicitation.
- Reports submitted by members are prioritised for human review by our safety team.
- Accounts flagged for child safety violations are suspended immediately pending investigation and are not permitted to resume activity during review.
4. Reporting to Authorities
Where we identify or receive credible reports of child sexual abuse material or exploitation, we report to the relevant authorities without delay. This includes:
- The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline, as required under applicable law.
- Local law enforcement in the jurisdiction where the violation occurred or where the child is located.
- Other relevant national or international authorities as required by law.
We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations and respond to lawful requests for information without informing the account holder in circumstances where doing so could compromise an investigation or endanger a child.
5. How to Report a Child Safety Concern
If you encounter any content, profile, or behaviour that you believe may involve a minor or constitutes child exploitation, please act immediately:
- Report in the app — use the report button on the profile or in the conversation. Select the appropriate category. Reports are escalated to our safety team immediately.
- Email our safety team — safety@pourtoi.love. For child safety concerns, include as much detail as possible: the username, the nature of the concern, and any screenshots if safe to capture.
- Contact authorities directly — you may also report CSAM to the NCMEC CyberTipline at missingkids.org/gethelpnow/cybertipline or to your local law enforcement.
You will never face negative consequences for reporting a child safety concern in good faith. Every report is taken seriously.
6. Member Responsibilities
Every member of Pour Toi has a responsibility to contribute to the safety of this community. If you encounter behaviour that concerns you — even if you are unsure — please report it. You do not need to be certain; our safety team will assess the situation.
Do not attempt to engage or confront individuals you suspect of being minors or perpetrators. Report immediately and let our safety team and relevant authorities handle the matter.
